Yolanda (D'Alessio) Healy's Obituary
Yolanda (D’Alessio) Healy, 89, of Liverpool, passed away on January 30, 2021 after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Angelo and Fannie D’Alessio. A graduate of North High School, Yolanda retired from New York Telephone Company. She was known there as The Fashion Plate. Yolanda loved to dance to the music of the Bee Gees. Her passion in life was her generosity, shopping for clothes, fashion, cooking, gardening, knitting, crocheting, and decorating. She was incredibly talented and could put things together without reading instructions. Yolanda would light up a room wherever she went because of her beautiful white hair that graced her at a young age. The way she dressed was to perfection. Yolanda was a lady thru and thru even dressed to the nines while cleaning and gardening. Her final wish was to go home and now she is finally at home with the Lord and her family.
Yolanda is predeceased by her parents; a brother Joe and two sisters, Lucy Delmonico, and Gracie Kania.
Yolanda is survived by her sisters, Stella D’Alessio (Liverpool), Betty Divens (Florida), Gloria (Jerry) Norfleet (California), and Aggie (Gus) Olson (North Syracuse); a brother, John (Mary Ann) D’Alessio (Fairmount), along with several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass in celebration of Yolanda’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Avenue, Liverpool, NY. Funeral arrangements entrusted to THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
