Yolanda M. Macro's Obituary
Yolanda M. (Lanni) Macro, 87, of Eastwood, passed away on Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born and raised in Syracuse, Yolanda was the mother of four children. In addition to raising her family, she worked with her husband, Frank at The Brighton Bakery. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Macro in 1993 and her daughter, Leona Tefft in 2008. Yolanda is survived by her daughter, Frances (Bill) Casterline of Pulaski; her 2 sons, Anthony (Susan) Macro of Syracuse and Matthew (Anne) Macro of New Hampshire; 9 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lena Salisbury and also her son-in-law, Larry Tefft. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 9:00 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Family and friends may call at the Thomas J .Pirro Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM. Contributions in Yolanda's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of CNY, 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
