Yvonne "Eva" Elias Ayoub's Obituary
Yvonne “Eva” Elias Ayoub passed away peacefully in the early hours of Monday, April 20th, 2020.
Throughout her life, Yvonne was a devoted follower of Christ, a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who was known to be gentle, kind, and compassionate. She was also a caring friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but her spirit will live on in the fond memories of everyone she touched, forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents Najeeb and Inchirah Abboud, her husband Elias Ayoub, her brother Saleem Abboud, and her sisters Mary Kanazeh and Evelyn Abdo.
Yvonne is survived by her brother Simon Abboud and his wife Lily, her son Chucri Ayoub and his wife Micheline, her son Mounir Ayoub and his wife Donna, her daughter Marcelle Chalhoub and her husband Sami, as well as her five grandchildren and great granddaughter: Caroline Silberfein and her husband Devin, Christine Zaouk and her husband Rabih (and daughter Luna), Elias Ayoub, Alain Ayoub, and Christelle Ayoub.
Yvonne was an active member of Saint Elias Orthodox Church in Syracuse, NY for 45 years.

Yvonne was a living example of Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”
