Zoran Nukic's Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Zoran Nukic, a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend, who passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024, in Syracuse, New York. Zoran was born on November 26, 1965, in Bijeljina, Bosnia, to Esad and Zora Nukic (Stipetic), both of whom preceded him in death.
Zoran is survived by his beloved wife, Sejla Nukic, with whom he shared many years of love and companionship. He is also survived by his son, Asmin, who will forever cherish his father's memory. Zoran is further survived by his four brothers, Halil, Meho, Senad, and Ermin, as well as his three sisters-in-law. His nieces, nephews, great nieces, stepdaughter, and step grandson will miss him dearly and hold his memory close.
Zoran was a man with many talents and a vibrant personality. He was an avid lover of music and an accomplished guitarist and singer. His passion for music filled his home and the hearts of those around him. Zoran's sense of humor was legendary—he was always ready with a joke, and his infectious laughter brought joy to everyone he met.
A gifted cook, Zoran was known for his delicious homemade pizzas and calzones, which became family favorites. He loved to gather with family and friends, often sharing meals that were as full of flavor as his heart was full of love. In his free time, Zoran enjoyed fishing, spending hours by the water, where he found peace and contentment.
He cherished the simple pleasures of life and always made the most of every moment. Zoran’s warmth, generosity, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, laughter, and joy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY, followed by burial in Loomis Hill Cemetery at 12:00 pm.
