We are so sorry for your loss. We have many fond memories of Aunt Frieda. I always loved sitting and talking with her, she always had such great insight and was always so kind, thoughtful and empathetic. Her warm smile and huge heart will be dearly missed.

Paul, your mother was always friendly and kind to me and my family over 45 years. She was very proud of your achievements and so very proud of your and Carla’s girls. I’m very happy that she is no longer suffering and is at peace. You and Carla did a wonderful job in taking care of her and you should feel proud that you made the necessary steps to put her in the appropriate facility. It’s difficult and painful to lose your parent but please know that she was proud and loved all the care you gave her. You did a good job! I’m sorry I can’t be there with your family, but you are in my thoughts during this trying time. I love you.

Dear Paul and Carla,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of loss of your dear Mother.
Frieda was always so very kind to me when I attended celebrations within our family.Her radiant smile seemed to extend to others comfort. She always recognized me as part of the family by sending thoughtful cards during milestone events in my life whether it was the adoption of my children or the loss of my husband.
I will miss her graceful presence but know she is in the arms of the Lord and will join those who she has loved.

Our sincere condolences for the passing of sweet Freida. We were close friends and become "family" after she and Santo Baptized my little sister Regina. Paul always remember your mom and how she would shine and light up when you spoke of you and your brothers. She was very proud of all of you. She always had a smile on her face. Condolences to the whole family... Frieda will be missed.
She and Santo were friends with my parents. They were my baptismal Godparents. Being a kid I remember how every Easter they would come to our house and bring the most delicious Easter bread. One year a cake shaped a bunny... I never understood why someone would put whole shell-on eggs in their desserts. (I was probably 5 to 8 years old then.)
Parina Frieda was wonderful and thoughtful about keeping in touch... we even got together to exchange Christmas gifts into my teen years... As time went by and I grew older we saw each other less and less. I moved away. But we always sent a Christmas card to each other.
A while back, I saw her at church when I came back to town for Christmas with my husband and kids. It was such a joy. Her smiling face and warm hugs I will never forget. It was nice to be able to share our love of Jesus with each other.
We talked a couple times on the phone through the years and her pleasant voice was a sweet sound to my ears.
I am sorry I will not be there to share your grief since I am in quarantine due to covid. But find comfort knowing she is in a better place with no pain or sorrow.
