I serve as a chaplain at Iroquois Nursing Home and had the privilege of getting to know Angie while she was there. Each time I walked into her room she would spread her arms out for me to give her a hug. The last time I saw her she had me help her put her sweater on because she was cold. She was so appreciative of that simple thing I did for her. I kissed her on the forehead and told her I loved her. I am so thankful those were my last words to her. I already miss seeing her there. I am so sorry I missed the services. I just heard. My parents are in Florida. My deepest condolences and heart felt sympathy. I miss our childhood memories and gatherings. A loss for us, but a gain for our loved ones in heaven. May she rest in peace and may you find peace with all the wonderful memories she left.

I so appreciated to read all of your posts about your Mom. I wish I had the opportunity to meet her. I could feel the warmth of her smile in all of your pics of her. I know she went peacefully as my Dad did. The staff at Iroquois are wonderful. My and my Mom's thoughts and prayers are with you. I told my Mom about your posts and she said you are an absolutely wonderful daughter. I expect Angie would agree!
