Dearest Louie, Karen and family, I'm so sorry to hear about my cousin Annie. I know she was sick a long time but it doesn't make it any easier. In our younger days we had some good times that I will always remember. I will keep you all in my prayers. I feel bad that I am out of town in Vancouver and not able to attend the services. My thoughts are with you.

I was so surprised and saddened to come across this obituary. Although I only met Mrs. Galtieri once, I was thinking of Mark just a couple of days ago. Wednesday, September 21st ,my son flew me down to Savannah, GA to see Elton John in concert. When Elton played "Daniel" I leaned over to my son and said "When I was 14 years old, my very first boyfriend, Mark Galtieri, used to play this song for me on his accordion. " My son got the biggest kick out of that. That song always reminds me of Mark. I see that Mrs. Galtieri died that same day. I can't help but think Mark was letting me know something had happened and this time he was playing it for his Mom. I wish all of you peace and please know that I still think of Mark often.
