Ann T. (Tavernier) Wilcox's Obituary
May 30, 2018 Ann Wilcox, age 77, a resident of Brookdale Liverpool, formerly of Cicero, died at St. Joseph’s Hospital, with her niece, Kat, by her side. Ann was born September 25, 1940, in Syracuse NY. She was the daughter of the late Armand and Lois (Huffman) Tavernier. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 48 years, Robert J. Wilcox Feb 23, 2012. She is survived by nephews John (Patricia) Wozniczka Jr. and Richard (Jaculin) Hillenbrand Jr.; nieces Suzanne Wozniczka, Katherine Dugas, and Kristin Hillenbrand; great-nephews, John (Nilde) Wozniczka III, Jody Wozniczka, Tully Dugas, and Trevor Dugas. Ann graduated from Central City Business Institute and worked at Carrier Corp before going on to run a successful Stenographer’s business. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time at their cottage in Sylvan Beach. She was a past member of The Lions Club. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 A.M. on Tuesday, June 5. Calling hours will be Monday, June 4 from 4 to 6pm at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. 3401 Vickery Road (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse N.Y 13212. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Aurora of CNY.
