In 1998 or1999, we had a wonderful family get-together at Uncle Frank and Aunt Gen's house, and Aunt Anna, showing her love of family, was immensely gracious to me and my kids. Thereafter I retired and moved to Florida. The last time I returned to Syracuse for a visit was in 2014. At that time I made a special effort to locate her, and luckily I found her at home. We had a wonderful nostalgic visit, reminiscing about the family, and we agreed to exchange Christmas cards until the end. My sincerest and deepest condolences to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and sister, my Aunt Virginia. Nephew Sam Vavonese
My Mom's sister, my Godmother, and a family historian. Aunt Anna enjoyed life. She enjoyed every minute of family times - weddings, graduations, baptisms, confirmations and small get-togethers. We had great telephone conversations, lunches and visits over the years. I will miss her family stories about relatives that have passed, her great personality and smile that light up a room. Until we meet again!
