Anna A. (Vavonese) Kubacki's Obituary
Anna A. (Vavonese) Kubacki, 91, of Syracuse, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Elderwood at Liverpool. She was born in Rochester, NY, daughter of the late Salvatore and Nunzia Vavonese. Anna lived in Syracuse most of her life and was a licensed beautician for many years; she retired from General Electric Co.
She was predeceased by her husband, Wesley T. Kubacki in 1993; five brothers, Joseph, Anthony, Frank, Angelo and Donald Vavonese, and one sister, Catherine McVene.
Anna is survived by her son, Wesley J. (Kathy) Kubacki of Geneva; her daughter, Mary Ann (Robert) Katz of Syracuse; four grandchildren, James (Rachael) Katz, Stephen Katz, Daniel (Annalynn) Katz and Catherine Kubacki; two great-grandsons, Sawyer and Finnley Katz; her sister, Virginia McBride of Syracuse, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
