Anthony DelVecchio, 81, of Liverpool, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Pignataro Maggiore, Italy and moved to Syracuse in 1955. Anthony was formerly employed with Ralph Palmisano M Read Obituary
I am so sorry for your loss, we all loved Tony so very much and he will be deeply missed. I especially have wonderful memories of when he worked for my Grandpa Carruthers . My Dad in Florida, Donald Crane, also sends his love and prayers and said Tony was by far the best packer ever and taught him a lot over the years. He always had a smile and a hug and was a wonderful man!My prayers and thought are with you all .

When we asked Tony and his wife, Maddalena, to be godparents to our son Raymond, I had no idea how seriously they would accept that responsibility. Until my son was grown, they remembered every birthday, Easter, and Christmas, and they were as involved in his life as they were able to be. They are two of the most honorable people I have ever known and I'm so grateful that they have been a part of our lives.
I pray that his family finds comfort and will continue to keep them all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, Tony, and God bless.
