My sincere sympathy to the Matrone Family on Anthony's passing. I grew up with Anthony in Eastwood and we became good friends. Anthony was a one-of-a-kind man and he was more of a gentleman than most. I also was friends with his brothers and went to school with all of them. I respected and loved them all. It has been many years since I lived in Syracuse but when I think of growing up there I think of the Montrone Family with a smile on my face. May God keep them in the Palm Of His hand and God bless them all.
Tony was an inspiration to so many of us. One of the most humble men I ever met. Pelion just wasn’t the same without him. So sorry for you and family Steph. Grateful to have known and worked with the 3 Ms may all rest in peace and know you all left this world a better place….especially for all you served.
Tony was the embodiment of "Class" and a true gentleman in every sense of the word. His selfless contribution to the Syracuse recovery community cannot be overstated.

With My deepest sympathy for one of Eastwoods best. He is up there with His buddy Ed Buckley and I am sure they are having a grand old time. They both beat the odds through the years and both helped many of their old friends when they stumbled.

Tony was the best! In 1999 I started working at Commonwealth & Tony oriented me. To watch him work with others was a marvel of wisdom, gentleness, clarity, & paying it forward. Such a good & decent man! My deepest condolences, Stephanie!
