Aunt Antoinette was quiet, but you knew not to tangle with her. She definitely could hold her own. I recall many fun times with the whole Maurillo family gathered around the dining room table playing cards (for money, of course), or staying up all night on New Year's Eve. I spent a lot of time at her home on North Townsend Street, babysitting my cousins... Jimmy, Mike, Ro, and Kelly... and the dog Ernie. Aunt Antoinette (named for her father Vitantonio) was a willowy beauty who could rock a pair of black capris. She certainly added a lot to our Maurillo clan!
