Antoinette "Toni" Lucille (Roffo) Savino's Obituary
Antoinette “Toni” Lucille (Roffo) Savino was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 90 on December 31, 2023. She was born to Vincenza and Antonio Roffo on June 16, 1933, in Syracuse NY. After graduating from North High School, Toni became a secretary and worked at General Electric company for nine years. She then married Daniel Savino and together they had three beautiful daughters, Cindy, Cheryl, and Lori.
Toni was a stay-at-home mom for 14 years. Following that she worked as a part-time teaching assistant at Genesee Hills, and then went on to work as an executive secretary to the VP of RE Dietz company. Toni loved spending time in the kitchen creating delicious meals for her family and friends. She also loved it when everyone gathered around the kitchen table for Sunday dinners.
Toni and Dan enjoyed their retirement years in Fort Myers, Florida where Toni was an active member of Greeters of Greater Fort Myers and a member of their craft group and Holiday bizarre. She served as a Eucharistic minister. Toni also loved designing and making jewelry in her spare time.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Daniel, her three daughters, Cindy Donati, Cheryl Savino and Lori (Jim) Falk. Grandchildren, Danielle (Alexander) Belina, Casey Inman, Alexandra Kenyon, Rebecca Kenyon, Nicole (Luke) Tucci. Great Grandchildren, Stella, Savino, and Brooklyn.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 11:30 A.M. – 1:30 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, immediately followed by a funeral service in celebration of Toni’s life at 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) N. Syracuse, NY 13212. Toni will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum.
