Arthur M. Grecco's Obituary
Arthur M. Grecco, 71, of Liverpool, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015 in Rome, Italy. He was born in Syracuse to the late Americo and Rose (Scudo) Grecco. Art was employed by Lauro Construction Company and then as a foreman by Triple P. Painting Company. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Golden Agers and a member of the Bocce League. Art was a great lover of animals.
Art is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kathleen D. (Munson) Grecco; four sons, Arthur Grecco of Cicero, Wayne (Lisa) Grecco of Jamesville, Gregory (Bonnie) Aksterowicz of Nashville,TN and Stephen Aksterowicz of Liverpool; five grandchildren, Reid, Jackson, Drew, Austin and Kylie; four siblings, Michael Grecco of Syracuse, Rosemary (Vincent) Paratore of Syracuse, Victoria (Vincent) Spadaro of Liverpool and James (Rose) Grecco of Camillus, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Service in celebration of Arthur’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wanderers’ Rest Humane Association, 7138 Sutherland Dr., Canastota, NY 13032 or to the American Heart Association.
