He is now in heaven with Tony,having conversations they have missed..it was nice to see Auggie when he would come into the bakery and visit...

We are all so sad to hear of Augie's passing. My father loved him like a brother, and always spoke of the joy of their friendship. People sustain a relationship like this over 70 years because both are willing to love unconditionally and make others a priority and certainly Augie always demonstrated these characteristics. We were all so jealous that he was my brother Vince's godfather because he always went out of his way to remember him and pay special attention to him. He had a busy family and business of his own but always made time for others. All the Vercillo's will miss him.
Yesterday I had just heard of Mr. Russo's passing! My sister Diane received a text from a family friend and then she told me and my family. We were sad to hear that and we are very sorry that we had missed his services! From my personal experiences of knowing Mr. Russo I will always remember him for his good nature and being just a great guy to be around and talk with. I can remember the times that we would talk at length about health and fitness. He was always so interested in his fitness regime like jogging and taking care of himself with good foods, supplements and such. I could understand why people liked him and why he was so successful in business. Mr Russo was always friendly, good natured, intelligent, had a great sense of humor and he always would talk to me as an equal. I will always remember his fantastic personality, his wit and his charisma. When I did have that opportunity to talk with him I always felt better when I left his company. He was a very unique and a very good man. I will always remember him and I will always be glad that I got to know him and share in his good company. My condolences to all of Mr. August Russo's family. I know that he will be sorely missed and pray for your peace and God's comfort in this time of grief.

MR RUSSO was like my second father growing up,living across the street he always included me in so many of their family activities i have a million fantastic memories thank you AUGGIE I LOVE YOU SINCERELY RON ZIEMBA
I am 70 now but have fond memories of my boss, Tony Catania, introducing me to Mr. Russo so that I was able to buy my very first New car-1970 Plymouth Duster. I remember how he was very kind and helpful to someone who was on her own. RIP Mr. Russo. Carolyn Crews
