Joe, Fred & Philip- I was so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a wonderful woman and I will always remember how welcoming and loving she was to me. We grew up in a wonderful place in a great time. Your family was a big part of that for me. RIP Mrs. Zanghi, you may be gone but never forgotten. Peace.

Alas, Zio and cugini, I have to pay my respects to my Zia from afar. I can't express how sad I am at this loss and how much I will miss her. All of the wonderful memories of her are too numerous to recount here.
I always thought Zia the sort of person to model oneself after. My admiration for her extends far beyond the love and care she showed me, especially as a child. I eventually came to see her dedication to her family in everything she did and admire how she worked with so much grace, humility, patience, and dignity.
I love and will miss you Zia. My thoughts and prayers are with my family this weekend.
My heart is broken for Mr. Zanghi, Joe, Fred and Philip. Growing up across the street provided me with lifetime memories of a true Italian, that cooked in the basement, grew her own vegetables and raised her boys properly. I will never forget the soup with the little meatballs or butter sangwiches. RIP Mrs. Zanghi, I will miss you.
