Carmine Vito "Tod" Todisco's Obituary
Carmine Vito “Tod” Todisco, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Nicholas and Anna Todisco. Tod graduated from New York University, where he received his Bachelor of Science (cum laude) and Master of Arts degrees. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force as a pilot and engineer. Tod was the Founder and CEO of Northern Plastics Corp., crafting fiberglass furniture and commercial products. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club. Tod was a collector of cultural artifacts, antiques and art, and was also a metalsmith of handmade jewelry.
Along with his parents, he is predeceased by his son-in-law, William Benz and brother-in-law, Al Rovito.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Lydia (Rovito) Todisco; his daughter, Maria Todisco and son, Paul Todisco.
A funeral Mass in celebration of Tod’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 409 S. Main St., North Syracuse, NY. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery Mausoleum, Rt. 57 Baldwinsville, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
