To the family and friends of Carol, I want to extend my deepest sympathies for your loss. I did not know Carol. I noticed she traveled to Nicaragua as part of a medical mission. It is there where we have something in common as I have been there 11 times on a medical missions. I want you to know how much she meant to the people of Nicaragua and how much you meant for your support of her. I do not know how she felt upon her return. I would not be surprised if she felt grateful for everything she had. I do not know what cut her life short and it is sad that she is no longer with us. The world is a better place for having people such as Carol who took the time to go to a place like Nicaragua and give of her time, her skills, and her grace. God be with you during this time of sadness, yet know that she made the world a better place. Gregory Wright, Director, Nicaragua New York Medical Mission
