Carol A. (DeCarlo) Taylor's Obituary
Carol A. (DeCarlo) Taylor, 51, of Canastota, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of Nicholas and Doris (Haas) DeCarlo. Carol received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Empire College. She was a Registered Nurse for 25 years and currently was employed with KCI for the past 12 years. Carol was a member of W.O.C., she was part of the Fresh Air Program, and was part of a Medical Mission in Nicaragua in 2016.
Carol enjoyed boating, vacationing, going out to dinner, her many social functions, and most of all carrying on family traditions.
She was predeceased by her father, Nicholas DeCarlo.
Carol is survived by her husband, James E. Taylor; her daughter, Nicole C. Sears; her sons, Gage and Chase Larrabee; her grandchildren, Jamir, Jalaiyah, and Jiavanna; her step-son, Zachary Taylor; her mother, Doris (Haas) DeCarlo; her brother, Nicholas (Melanie) DeCarlo, her sister, Angela (Michael) Frey; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends, Roxanna Fiore, Vicki and Terry Chilbert, John and Jodee Kelly.
A Funeral Mass in celebration of Carol’s life will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will be in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay, NY. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
