C. Gregory Forbes, 69, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2013 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Mt. Kisco, NY, the son of the late C. Graham and Anna (McCarthy) Forbes. Greg was a U.S. Army veteran. He received Read Obituary
We are so saddened of Greg's passing. We will always have memories of all our family dinners together. Greg would join us on many Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve celebrations. Being a food lover as he was, he savored every bite which made our dinners so special. We would take a picture of his plate before hand in which looked like it belonged in a food magazine. Sometimes he would visit us at camp with Michele and spend the day. So happy he came last Labor Day and enjoyed a beautiful a great cookout, boat ride and sunset with us. We will miss him terribly but our memories will last forever!

Greg was a very good next door neighbor, he was a very kind person and would help you out in a minute notice. Ron and I and also my son Bruce will miss the talks we had while he was sitting on the porch always holding one of his cats. He will be greatly missed by many. May God bless your family in this time of sorrow and may your memories bring you comfort. Your family and Michele are in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in knowing Greg's soul is at peace and his spirit free.

Greg was not only a great friend of my husbands, he was like a father. As best man at our wedding, Greg had our friends and family laughing so hard with his toast. He was such a wonderful man and i feel blessed to have had the opportunity to know him. Michele, Joe and I are always here for you. Forever in our hearts he will never be forgotten.
