Charles Edward Pratt, 89, of Liverpool, NY and Naples, FL passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday. Charles was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He spent 30 years working at the General Electric Company before retiring. Read Obituary
Although I did not personally know Chuck; Verna was our beloved secretary in Staff Development.
I felt that I personally knew each one of you as she was so proud of her family.
Verna’s love for Chuck was boundless.

My condolences to all family. I have great memories working with Charlie at Lamson Corporation back in the early 80's. When Reagan became president things really picked up at GE Farrell Road and Charlie left Lamson and returned to GE. He called me while I was still working at Lamson and asked me to think about moving to GE. The rest is history and I owe Charlie a debt of gratitude for my 30+ years at GE, Martin Marietta and finally Lockheed Martin. I retired from LM in late 2013. Charlie was a super person and I recall him telling me that he made the large wooden sign posted outside his housing development off Electronics park.
