Rosie (and family) - I remembered when I worked with Chuck at Precision - I was the cashier and he always made me laugh and then years later - I had the pleasure of working with Rose at UPS. I will remember him with a smile and spring in his step. I know that this is a big loss for your family and I will keep you in my prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Riel Family. I worked with Chuck for many years through the mid 70's and 80's at Precision Auto's. Those were the good old days. He wll always be remembered. God Bless.

My deepest condolences to the Riel family. I worked with Chuck at Precision VW back in 1985. My father Matthew Young also worked with Chuck for many, many years. Chuck will surely be missed. Lord's blessings to you all.

Dearest Rose, John, Heather and families,
I have so many fond memories of "Chuckles." He was so kind and thoughtful whether we were spending time at your house or ours. All those years we spent (avoiding halloween) together when our kids were young. All the fun times we had playing games, he was always a good sport and what a great laugh he had. He is going to be missed by many many of us who loved him also. You are all in my prayers, I wish I could be there with you to hug you and try to ease some of your pain.
With all my Love,
Connie Dewey

My thoughts and prayers to the Riel family. Chuck was am wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

It seems like only yesterday... spending the night across the street at the Riel house and having Mr. Riel pick on us and make us laugh. He had such a great sense of humor and a way of enlightening us with random facts in history. Thinking about it makes me smile, remembering the great times I have shared with all of you, your family, and Mr. Riel (yeah... I still have to refer to him as Mr. Riel).
It saddens me to think of the hurt you are all experiencing right now. It saddens me even more that I can't be in Syracuse to be there to celebrate the wonderful life of Chuck Riel. I am so sorry that I can't be there with you. My tears flow in the sorrow of your loss, but also in happiness as I remember what a great man he was. Please know that there are many, many thoughts and feelings being shared with you from a few hundred miles away. My thoughts are with all of you in this very difficult time. I love you all...
Dear Rosie, John, Heather and families,
Please know that you are loved and thought of always, and that wonderful memories of "Chuckles" will be in our hearts forever. He made his mark in this world, as I'm sure he is doing now in the next, and I will always remember him for his humorous stories and quick smile. God Bless......Bev
