Clara (Giarrusso) Daino's Obituary
Clara (Giarrusso) Daino, age 105, formerly of Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at her home in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. She was born in Italy and was a loving mother and grandmother who lived for her children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Daino in 1952. Clara is survived by her three daughters, Mary A. (Thomas) Fantacone of Syracuse, Eleanor D. Meade of New Jersey and Susie D. (Roger) Mazzochi of Brewerton; 5 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Robert W. (Amy) Giarrusso of Syracuse; sister, Eva Stagnitta of Syracuse and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 8:00 AM in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY and 9:00 AM in St. Daniel's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM. Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
