He was survived by his daughters Lisa Lombardo Hope Lombardo. His grandchildren, Alicia Lombardo, Jennifer Lombardo, Brittany Lombardo, Christopher Lombardo, Maurice Lombardo, Machiavelli Lombardo and Kenniesha Samuels, Stephanie, Margie, Michael and Mechell Nuzzi Predeceased by his son Cosmo Lombardo, jr., Beverly lombardo.

Uncle Cosmo was a great person and a huge part of my early years when I lived and grew up in Syracuse. I have many fond memories of the many many times I was at the house. I was there as much as if not more than my own house, driving everyone crazy I'm sure. I know he was at the hospital with my Dad when I was born and was there for him. His calm, cool and relaxed personality was the perfect balance to the family which at times could get a little animated..in a good way. I always remember that he was the person who made the "gravy" for our many family gatherings..and gave me my first taste of Sauce on my pasta when I was making the transition from butter to the grown up way with gravy. The world is a lesser place due to his passing..and he will be missed. Love you, John-John...
