Daniel J. Grover's Obituary
Daniel J. Grover, 35, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Watertown, NY and graduated from Carthage Central High School where he was all north selection in both baseball and football where he also received the Mr. Football award. Daniel went on to play baseball for Cazenovia College. He also enjoyed playing softball and golf. Daniel was a Deputy with the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office for seven years and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. He is survived by his loving wife of six years, Stephanie M. (Cole) Grover; his daughter, Meeyah Grover; his parents, Ronald and Barbara (Vandewater) Grover of Carthage, NY; his brother, Michael (Kim Sevier) Grover of Livermore, CA; his sister, Liza Grover of Calcium, NY; his grandmother, Mildred Boley of Sayreville, NJ along with his niece and nephew, Kyle and Whitney Grover of Natural Bridge, NY and three cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME and 11:00 am in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Meeyah Grover Trust Fund, payable to Custodial Account of Meeyah Grover, c/o OCSPA, PO Box 1176, Syracuse, NY 13210.
