I will forever be grateful to my friend David because he brought so much joy and happiness to my mother Susan Stoneburg. My mother and David were intorduced to one another by my aunt and uncle and they slowly got to know one another. As time passed a weekend wouldn't go by without them sharing time with one another. They'd go to the movies, cook, practice shooting at the firing range (David soon found out he had "Granny Oakly" as a companion) and even hunt together last fall. Whenever you'd see them they'd have grins on their faces and their laughter filled the room. David became very close to my sister, brother, and me as well as our families. He treated all of us with love, respect, and consideration. I felt a special connection to David and he and I would pray with one another towards the end of his battle with cancer. I truly loved him and as I said before I will forever be grateful that God brought him into our lives. I know that my father greeted David at the pearly gates saying thank you for being so kind to my beloved family and bringing them happiness...then they probably shared a glass or two of wine. God bless you David and I'll see you again someday my dear friend.
Love,
Heather Stoneburg Brown
