Dennis R. Burlingame's Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dennis R. Burlingame, 51, on April 2, 2025. Dennis was born in Baldwinsville on June 1, 1973. He retired from the Syracuse Police Department after 20 years of service. Dennis then became a Student Resource Officer at Jordan Elbridge where he left a positive impact on many children. Dennis’ biggest joy in life was being a father. He loved traveling, cars, going to the gym, and spending time with his friends and family.
Dennis was predeceased by his mother, Ann Burlingame. He is survived by his wife, Dawn; his daughter, Ella; his father, Brent; his 5 brothers, Mark (Kelly), Michael (Cheryl), Timothy (Heidi), Steven (Maggie), and Daniel (Marsha); and his numerous nieces and nephews.
Dennis will be missed for his lighthearted spirit and kindness by all those who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation in celebration of Dennis’ life on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME 3401 Vickery Rd. (Corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY 13212.
