Donald D. Daily, 81, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Don was born in Cincinnatus, N.Y. but lived in the Syracuse area for most of his life. Don and his beloved wife, Domenica “Marge” Da Read Obituary
To Don's family. So sorry to hear this news. What a great guy and the world's loss. I "hired" Marge and Don when I was the Director of Volunteer Services at CGH. I immediately knew he was a "keeper". What a great outgoing personality and so helpful of a guy. It was my pleasure to have worked with him there during my time. May he now be enjoying his meeting up with Marge and may he be resting in peace. John Scala
I worked with Don at Marine Midland Bank, Adams Street Branch for 3 years 1965-1968. Don was a great guy, always a smile on his face and so helpful to the staff. We were like a family in that branch. I remember when he and Marge’s first daughter was born, a proud papa Don certainly was. Fortunately I saw him in later years where he worked in Solvay and we always had fun sharing our memories from the bank. Very sorry to read of his passing.

I knew Don since I was a child. We went to many Syracuse University games together. He was the nicest man you will ever meet with a great sense of humor. Thoughts and prayers to the family.
Dear family of Don,
I was fortunate to know Don as a fellow Monday volunteer at Upstate Community. What a sweet man! He was always cheerful, always ready to assist patients. I would stop to talk to him on my way out, and he would always say to me "Stay safe out there!"
I will always be grateful I had the chance to know him! He will always be an inspiration to me as to what it means to be a dedicated volunteer.

You will never find a nicer person than Don Daily. I was lucky to know him my whole life. Don was very smart, funny and will be missed by everyone who knew him! RIP MY FRIEND.
I worked with Don at Marine Midland Bank in the 70s. Such a kind hearted man always with a smile. Actually Don and Marge attended my wedding in 1977. I’m sure he will be greatly missed. My condolences to all. Michele M
