Dear DiRaddo family, I was so forntunate to have known and work with Donna over the years. So many years, and each one grew a relationship that can't be duplicated . Donna was Donna; she was a natural to imagine and create culinary ideas and spell them out with food on plate !!! As one of her food vendors I witnessed her highs and lows , but regardless of the hour, she would find a way to to forgive, laugh, smile, cheer, and overcome the hurdles in foodservice. Her accomplishments, and following she created are testamnent. Above all, she made it easy to be a friend . I'll miss that, but won't forget. All the best to you all, Fran "Francois" Belge

My heart hurts so much when I think of Donna being gone. How can the world keep turning without her? As if that’s ok. Well, it’s not.
And yet, in a way, I guess it is, or will be, ok.
English is a funny language. Changing just two things in that other sentence make such a huge difference. Changing the word “hurt” to “expands” and leaving out “being gone.”
That makes it, “My heart expands so much when I think of Donna.”
Yes, yes it does.

I am so sorry for everyone who will now not have Donna in their lives. She touched my life briefly and beautifully, and I am better for her being a part of it. And she took her garlic secret with her, even though I asked more than once! She was a joy and will be sorely missed. Best wishes to Cheryl and all who loved Donna. Celeste.
I don't even know what to say the first memory I can remember is Donna, Sue Degnan and me, hanging out in the village of camillus in a tree doing not much of anything but horsing around, I guess it was around 8th grade. But the memory is so strong and then of course me having a big crush on her brother Donald and teaching Daniel how to drive. I feel very fortunate to have had a really good conversation with Donna at our high school reunion which she put a fabulous dinner on and the ice statue that she had done was amazing. Donna will be certainly missed. I feel very fortunate to have known Donna and have had the same graduation class and to have known her family as well as Gloria her mom. Donna was a big part of the life of the village of Camillus with so much love she will be missed.
