Elizabeth (Endieveri) Longo's Obituary
Elizabeth (Endieveri) Longo, age 101 of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2020. She was a devoted wife and mother with very strong faith and family values. She was born in Syracuse to the late Antonio and Laura (DeLuna) Endieveri. Her true love for her family was unconditional and everlasting. Elizabeth always preached what her mother taught her, “You have to give love to get love.” Elizabeth cared deeply for her family and friends, not out of obligation, but because of who she was. She was always the first to offer help and know just the right thing to say to make someone feel special.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Nicholas in 2007; six sisters, Lena, Victoria, Ursaline, Rose, Josephine, and Frances; four brothers, Frank, Santo, John, and James.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Camille (Hon. Anthony F.) Aloi, of Cicero, Loretta (Lawrence) Bellucci, of Bridgeport, and Nicholas D. (Antoinette) Longo, of Syracuse; six grandchildren, Michelle (Martin) Brown, Frank (Laura Brewer) Aloi, Laurie Beth (Jason ) Nolan, Larry (Dava Ragonese) Bellucci , Nicole (Ryan) Sunser and Danielle (Nick) DelVecchio. Nine great-grandchildren, Matthew, Tommy, Anthony, Patrick, Nicky, Bella, Ava, Veronica, and Madison; brothers-in-law, Victor Pelosi, and John Bracca; a sister-in-law, Jean Endieveri; along with several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 28, 2020 from 10 am- 12 pm at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Road (corner of Buckley Road) North Syracuse followed by a funeral mass at 1 pm in Our Lady of Pompei/ St. Peter Church, Syracuse. Private entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Upstate Golisano Children’s Hospital.
