My sincere and heartfelt sympathy for your terrible loss. Aunt Ellen was very special to me and I have wonderful memories from when I was a child including attending SU games, movies, parties, etc. She was a talented and special woman.
As we are leaving for India in 6 days and renting a UHaul for a local move on that Saturday, I do not know if we will be able to attend..
Rest assured that our hearts and love are with all of you during this very difficult time.
I know that many relatives were there to welcome her home including my wonderful parents and she is surrounded by love and peace.

She gave me a purse for my first day of kindergarten. I remember opening it up and there was "make-up" in it! Lipstick, blush, and a mirror. It wasn't real make-up (or my mom would have freaked) but it was real to me
I remember her giving me a plush new towel when I stayed overnight, and upon
My request for something not quite so fluffy, she produced a less extravagant towel.
I remember her making clothes for my Francie doll. A wedding gown, a winter royal blue coat with fur around the collar, and so many more!
I remember every Christmas eve the family would ask her she and Uncle Jimmy had an announcement to make
I remember how romantic I thought she and Uncle Jimmy always were...my definition of true love
I remember her encouraging me in any endeavor I undertook!
I remember how beautiful I thought she was. How kind and calm.
This is the tip of the iceberg...my family was blessed with her steady presence in it.
She was definitely a cool aunt!
