My children and I send our deepest sympathies to the Young family. I knew Elvera from St. Charles. Her son Conor was in my daughter Christina's class. What an amazing, caring and energetic person, she was so kind and warm. God bless you.

Young family, I met Elvera a few years ago through my cousin, Mary Ellen Kernan and continued to hear about Elvera from our son, Dan Straub who thoroughly enjoyed working with her at Clary. He loved her vibrant personality and considered Elvera his second mother. Elvera's obituary was a beautiful tribute to her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Maureen and Fred Straub
With heartfelt sympathy to the Young family. I had the pleasure of working with Elvera at Lincoln and Levy and I remember her words of encouragement during those times.
In prayer, Karen Menzari.
