Evangeline “Angie” Gloria (Flaminio) Petrarca, 92, of Liverpool, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2019. She was born in Blairsville, PA on October 4, 1927, daughter of the late John and Ann (Bada) Flaminio. After a long caree Read Obituary
Angie was Chairman of Sunfirst Federal Credit Union for many years. I served as its President. She was a staunch supporter of our members. Any proposal that came before her prompted one question: "How will this affect our people?" She was our social conscience and as such, she also supported me during good times and difficult times. I adored her. I only found out about her passing today. I will contribute to her charity to honor her, but I will never be able to pay her back for her decades of moral support and the confidence she showed in my abilities. My deepest condolences to her beloved Bob and Steph. Rest easy now, dear Angie, as your work here was done well. I will miss you for the remainder of my days.

I never got to know Angie, but I have the honor of knowing her grandson, Robert. Angie's influence in Robert's heart is evident in the way he carries himself and how he treats the people in his life.

So sorry to hear about Angie. I and several others who used to work at Syracuse University used to get together at Angie's house every Christmas and for lunch at the Olive Garden. She will be deeply missed.
