I did not know about Lockwood's death until January 2015. I had
a whole bunch of stories about Lockwood that I wanted to share.
There were too many to post them all here, so I put them on my
personal web site at http://users.bestweb.net/~collier/lockwood/.
--Dear Diane,
You probably do not remember me, but Lockwood was my PhD adviser in the 1980s. And what a great friend and adviser he was. I will never forget his intelligence, devotion, integrity, and dedication. We met and worked many Saturdays at SU (since I was teaching off campus) and a couple of times, Lockwood came to Massachusetts and spend the whole weekend helping me with my PhD. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences.
Hugs.

Professor Morris has always been so patient with me, and shared his intelligence and his unique mind with me. Without it, I will not be able to finish my Ph.D, and be where I am today. He was such an intelligent person and led such beautiful life. I will cherish him in my memory as long as I live.
