Floyd M. Pallone's Obituary
In loving memory of Floyd M. Pallone, 89, of N. Syracuse, who passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital on March 16, 2036. Floyd was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and graduated from North High School, where he played football and track. He worked as an electrical engineer at Niagara Mohawk (National Grid) for over 30 years. After retirement, he worked part-time at Burdick car dealership and also operated Crafty Two, a wood crafting business with his daughter, Jodie. Floyd was an avid fisherman and boater for most of his life, a faithful Syracuse Orange fan, and an accomplished handyman who was always ready to lend his help. Above all, he was a loving, kind, and thoughtful family man.
Floyd is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Jean (More) Pallone; his son, Steven J. Pallone; his daughter, Jodie Pallone; his brother, Anthony (Mary Lou) Pallone; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Floyd and Jean were born six days apart in the same hospital at St. Joseph's and were high school sweethearts and class couple while at North. They shared a lifetime of togetherness, from prom to marriage, raising children into retirement; in good times and bad - they were always at each other’s side and will forever remain in each other’s hearts. Floyd will be deeply missed.
Private funeral services were held at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME.
