I met Fran when I started working at NPG. She invited me to eat lunch with her and we shared lunch daily until her retirement. She also graciously threw me a wonderful baby shower at her home. (Frank cooked up a delicious meal for us!) I enjoyed meeting her family over the years, and hearing about her fun times with her group of lifelong girlfriends. I would also look forward to her returning from her Vegas trips, as she always brought us a can of Mrs. See’s candies to share at work. Thanks for the memories Fran. Sending deepest condolences to your family.

I met Fran years ago when my sister Marty Maslana lived across the street from Fran’s sister-in-law Theresa Geremski and her husband Dick, who was Frank’s brother. Marty and Theresa were best friends, constantly having coffee together, and Fran visited them often. I recall many lunches with Fran, especially after Marty and her family moved near SanFrancisco. When my sister would fly back to visit us, we’d always visit with Fran and Theresa. I admired her style, her confidence and humor and am very sad to hear of her loss. She was definitely one of the good ones!

Your mom was a very special person whom I looked up to. She was wonderful to my family and all our family. She was my rock and I’ll cherish all the memories I got to spend with her and the sleepovers when I was little and then as a teenager. I’m going to so miss just popping over after Zumba or if I was heading to hafners.
