Francesco "Frank" Battaglia's Obituary
Francesco (Frank) Battaglia, 88, of Liverpool, passed away Friday at his home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Satriano, Italy, Frank moved to the United States in 1954. He loved his garden and that was his passion. Frank was a former member of the Pentecostal Christian Assembly Church. He was employed by the Bongiovanni Construction Company for several years.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph & Dominick Battaglia and his sister, Elizabeth Stagliano. Frank is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marianna L. (Leuzzi) Battaglia; 3 children, Vincent A. (Mindy) Battaglia of Baldwinsville, Pasquale (Gail) Battaglia of Lyncourt and Concetta (Alfred) VanCott of Camillus; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M.
