Francine A. (Pandossi) Battaglia's Obituary
Francine A. (Pandossi) Battaglia, 75, of Syracuse, passed away May 29, 2022 at Francis House surrounded by her loving family. Francine was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late John and Lucy (Mastry) Pandossi. She graduated from St. John the Evangelist High School, was a devout catholic and lifetime member of Our Lady of Pompei Church. Francine enjoyed traveling, shopping, going to the casino, but most of all, she cherished time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by her father-in-law, Dominick Battaglia and mother-in-law, Serafine Battaglia.
Francine is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Vincent “Jim” Battaglia; two sons: Jim (Tammy) Battaglia and Rob (Lisa) Battaglia; her daughter, Susan (Dan Caffrey) Battaglia; four grandchildren: Alyssa, Lauren, Michael, and Matthew; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and grand cats, Jack and Smokey.

A Funeral Mass in celebration of Francine’s life will be held at 9:30 am on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church, 301 Ash St., Syracuse, NY. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
