Franco Musumeci's Obituary
Franco Musumeci, 71, of Cicero, passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in San Ferdinando, Italy, the son of the late Domenico and Innocenza Musumeci. Franco served with the Italian Navy and moved from Italy in 1966, residing in the Cicero-North Syracuse area.
Franco was the founder of Terax Hair Care and owner of several area hair salons. He was former president of the NYS Hairstyling Guild and was an avid wine collector.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (Gilmartin) Musumeci; son, Marco (Jackie) Musumeci of Cicero; daughters, Jennifer (Jerome) Snyder of Fulton and Lisa Musumeci of Liverpool; four grandchildren, Ana Snyder, Brodie Snyder, Aidan Musumeci and Sasha Musumeci; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call at the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
