Frank A. Magari, Sr., 67, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, graduated from Henninger High School and received his Engine Read Obituary
Dear Barb, Gena, & Frankie,
The thing I remember most about Frank was the wonderful warmth he so naturally generated. He was always happy- always entertaining- with a big grin on his face. In that way, he reminded me of my own father. My favorite memory of him is from a couple of summers ago. Gena was home visiting, and Amy and I came by to pick her up for one of our girls nights out. Our girls nights out always started in the Magari garage, talking with Barb & Frank. That particular night, Frank took us out in the backyard- and he walked me around, proudly showing off all of his herb and vegetable plantings. He was so sweet and funny, explaining to me what everything was and poking fun at me (in a dad-like way) because I had no idea what was what. That is how I will always remember Frank- laughing with him in his backyard on that hot summer night. He will be so very, very missed.

Dear Barb,
I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of your life's closest partner. As my wife and I have, like you and Frank, been married for 43 years, I can feel that small degree of empathy with you on where your emotions must be at this moment.
I believe there is beautiful thing that God leaves us when a loved one has passed through before us. We simply call it memory.
Frank is an bigger-than-life icon in your heart and in your mind that you will be able to recall at any moment in time. A thought of any of the special moments you've shared will be instantly and vividly recalled...it's almost as good as, but in some ways better than the real event; it gives warm comfort...
Of course you know that you have the complete love and support from your Acadia family. I shall offer a prayer to Frank and to you in my next Sunday's church service, and also at our family Thanksgiving table on Thursday.
