Frank A. Magari, Sr.'s Obituary
Frank A. Magari, Sr., 67, of Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Crouse Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Syracuse, graduated from Henninger High School and received his Engineering Degree from Syracuse University. Frank was a self-employed business owner, owning and operating Turbo Wash Tech Inc. for 19 years. He enjoyed watching SU sports, especially basketball. Frank was a history buff, a collector of stamps, and Lionel Model Trains. He also was an avid gardener and a farmer at heart. Frank was a devout Catholic, hardworking throughout his life and a devoted family man. His sense of humor and love of family will be greatly missed.
He was predeceased by his father, Anthony C. Magari, Sr. in 1989.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara L. (Barbuto) Magari; his daughter, Gena M. Hondrogiannis of Denver, CO; his son, Frank A. Magari, Jr. of Liverpool; granddaughter, Mia Lena Magari; his mother, Josephine (Catania) Magari of Syracuse; brother, Anthony (Jane) Magari, Jr. of Syracuse; sister, Linda (Charles) Anderson of Manlius, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 7:30 am in the THOMAS J. PIRRO JR. FUNERAL HOME, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 8:30 am in St. Joseph the Worker Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the funeral home, 3401 Vickery Rd. (corner of Buckley Rd.) North Syracuse, NY.
