Frederick James Almonte, 72, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 in Florida. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Fred and Carmella (Depaola) Almonte. Fred graduated from ESM High School, OCC and attended Murray State Unive Read Obituary

I knew Fred at EAVES Ambulance in the 1970s and fondly recall working with him. Fred taught me to be a reassuring and comforting presence to people in medical distress.

From the first time (in 1968) I sat next to Fred in band, he was my friend. I was so happy to be able to reconnect to him on FB in later years. He was a good friend to many, me included. You have my sincere condolences. Rest In Peace, ‘Spumoni’.
