Frederick James Almonte's Obituary
Frederick James Almonte, 72, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 in Florida. He was born in Syracuse, NY, son of the late Fred and Carmella (Depaola) Almonte. Fred graduated from ESM High School, OCC and attended Murray State University. He started his career with Fucillo Automotive Group and more recently worked for 14 years as Senior Vehicle Specialist at Key Scales Ford in Leesburg, Florida. Fred had a passion for bowling and was the Manager at Holiday Bowl and Co-Owner of Syracuse and Lakeview Bowl. He was an avid Yankees fan and greatly enjoyed Ocean Cruising with family and friends. He was a founding member of EAVES.
Fred is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Lourdes Almonte; his son, Frederick (Arwyn) Almonte, Jr.; two brothers, John (Brenda) Almonte and Thomas (Michele) Almonte; his sister, Maria (Joseph) Monteleone; brother-in-law, Patrick (LuAnn) Ryan; several nieces, nephews, cousins and his dog Trixie, who was his faithful companion.
