I met Freddie at the north side CYO when we were just 8 years old. we got into a fight and he sat on me and told me "if i didnt hit nim again he would let me up." we became life long friends. I love freddie like a brother and i miss him now and always will. God bless you my friend and like Toby Kieth says in his song "Im going to miss that smile im not crying for you im crying for me" Your the best Freddie. Your friend forever ,Cheech.
Uncle Freddy,
You were one of the sweetest, most genuine, caring people I have ever met in my life. I'll never forget at Grandpa's wake when my basketball team came to see me, and I started bursting out crying all over again. You were the one to come over to me and hug me and talk to me, and make me stop crying because of your kind words. That memory will stick with me for the rest of my life. I've never met a sweeter, happier person than you and I will never forget you. Love you Uncle Freddy!

i worked for Freddie in the late 70's at the resturant ,couldn't ask for a better boss and friend ...he and Fred Aboud are now together in heaven, cooking, eating, telling jokes, and waiting for all of us to carry on...my sympathy to the family....

I have great memories of Freddie. When the power went out at the restaurant in Manlius, Freddie cooked on outdoor grills and lit our table by candle light!!
He was a great friend and I will miss him! Say Hi to Susan for me.
SALUTE!
Ron
Fred and I were classmates at CBA, played football together there, etc. He was always a great guy and had a happy outlook on life. We could use more people like Fred - he'll be missed.

Freddie, How does one say good-bye to one of the greatest men of all times? You've been one of my very best friends in the whole world for about 40 years. Not ready to say good-bye,don't think I can. You will be greatly missed by all. Especially me! I keep looking for you at Wegmans thinking you're right around the corner. But you're not...Thank you for all you've given me. I'll never forget your laughter, smile, warmth and compassion. We shared great times and wonderful memories. I love you always. God needed an angel so he took you home to Heaven. Till we meet again, rest in peace my friend. My deepest sympathies to Freddie's family.
To Freddie's loved ones.........Please accept our deepest condolences.......Freddie was truly one in a million! We know he had hundreds and hundreds of friends - to know him was to love him - and we join with all the others to say that we were privileged to call him our friend. He was a beautiful, funny, and passionate man. He will never be forgotten. He touched so many people, and he will remain in our hearts!
