George was a very kind man! He and our Dad, Herm Fedrizzi would travel to the Meadowlands for horse races!! Columbus was and still is the only Italian bread our family eats!! Kind , generous… he will be missed part of a wonderful generation… thank you for sharing your Dad

George was such a nice generous man. I bought dough from him for many years for my pizza shop and he would always give me a loaf of bread. Then if you shopped to buy 4 loaves of bread, he would give you a fifth loaf for free. He always was happy and smiling. Jim, and family, so sorry for your lost. May your dad Rest In Peace. God Bless.
I knew George from Serpico’s restaurant ,down the block from Columbus bakery.He would come in daily for breakfast and just to chit-chat.He was a very kind and loving man,always very pleasant to be around,My condolences to Jim and the rest of his loved ones…
