I am so sorry to hear of George's passing... I just found out this morning.
We've been friends for 30 years and had breakfast frequently at Gardeview Diner..
So sad... my sincerest condolences to the Family, I will miss him....
So honored to have known this wonderful man. He touched our hearts in many ways.Always talked of his son, and was very proud of him indeed. With the memories we made and shared, he will be missed dearly. Praying for peace and comfort for his family in this time of need. God speed George... you were a sweet dear friend and one of a kind!
suddenly saddened by this. Had lost touch with George somewhere around 1962 even though we were still in school together. Reunited on the internet a couple of years ago. Prayers and wishes to the family for comfort, especially his son. I know how it is to loose a father and I still miss him.
I’m so sad to see this. It’s been years since I’ve seen him.. but I will never forget our chats. I worked at Stellas diner for a few years and I would go out of my way to make sure I was serving the counter.. just to be able to talk with him. Coworkers would get annoyed I’m sure, and I got in trouble on more than one occasion for ignoring my other tables.. I really enjoyed talking to him, sometimes we’d agree on things, sometimes we’d argue over things, most times we’d laugh, and all of the time I would learn.. he definitely left a lasting impact on me. I’m sad to hear of his passing and that I never got to talk with him again. My thoughts are with his family and I hope everyone has some comfort knowing how great an impact George left on people.. many people. ♥️

So Sorry to read about my buddy George. We go back to the 60s and racing on Salina St & Pepsi Rd. Rest In Peace ole friend, you were one of the Good fun guys around.
