I knew Joe for years through his 'event' work. I did the same for close to 28 yrs at a few of the same locations as Joe, & those shows in venues that I wasn't working or ushering, I was quite often attending...and Joe would often encourage me to work at Those venues also (I didn't want to add additional as I working Full Time in my career job)! I'm now retired for 6 1/2 yrs, & made sure I was no longer involved in Events by the time I retired, but every so often I would attend a show/ concert & cross paths w/ Joe...and that would be the highlight of the evening! Throughout all the years Joe Never Changed; to me anyway, he was Always one of the most warm, welcoming, & friendly people Ever...Truly a Blessed, Special person! His family is So Blessed by God to have had Joe in it (he knew that I always wished that I had a dad like Joe)! Joe is one whom Truly will be missed by Many, including myself, but just thinking of him brings a smile. I send my sincere condolences to Joe's wife & family. May keeping all the good memories in mind, as well as Knowing Without One Doubt that Joe is now in heaven With God, bring at least a bit of comfort.
