I am sorry to hear about Grace. She was a good friend to my mother Mary Cowan. Grace was very kind and patient with my mother. They enjoyed going on road trips to OTB and other gambling venues.

Grace..... so much can be said about her..... A woman who was truly a Lady. She had grace, style, and a heart of gold. I've known Grace most of my childhood, but it was during her Sister Emilia's illness that we once again got close. We would talk frequently on the phone and visited each other. My visits to their house were always a joy for the three of us. We'd all go out to dinner and go to Bingo which she loved. She & George took me to the Casino one time and while George played the Big Boys' games, her and I were busy at Bingo. She was a pro, I am a novice at this game..... she'd play her Bingo cards and helped me with mine. One day after playing Bingo, we met up with George. She tells me, laughingly, that when we approached George we had to stick out our hands so he can share his winnings with us. Needless to say, I was nervous about doing that, but she put my hand out too and George gave both of us money. I'll never forget that experience. I will always carry you in my heart, Dearest Grace.
Grace was truly the definition of a lady. She had a beautiful soul and blessed all that knew her with her love and kindness. She always blessed the "ladies who lunch" with her grace and her laughter. Grace, you will be missed by all of us that loved you. God Bless You
Grace was a dear friend to my godmother, Issie Strabo, and I currently live across the street from her house. I was fortunate to see her recently out getting her mail. She was such a sweet lady. My mom, Jean Grosso, myself, and my family would like to extend our condolences to Grace's husband and family. May you find comfort in your memories.
