To Griffin's family: Like so many others, you don't know me but I do remember Adam when he was in high school here in Newberry. I, too, followed Griffin's journey and have truly been touched by this experience. He sounds like an outstanding youngster with an outstanding family. Thank you so much for sharing some of your innermost feelings and darkest times with all of us. Even though Griffin had only seven short years, it's a comfort to know it's not the length of the journey that matters---but more importantly, what we do on the journey. It sounds like Griffin's journey was packed with family and love and those things that really matter the most in life. Thank you for reminding us all of what matters in this life and that to come. May you find peace and comfort in the days ahead.
